Now we get into spoilers.
At the top of the Col de Portel, the peloton is 16 minutes plus behind the leader, Amael Moinard.
Between Moinard and the peloton is a chase group of 11 who are two minutes back and then a lone rider at about 14 minutes back.
The chasing group will probably catch Moinard, but there is little chance the peloton will catch him.
There are 37KM to go in the race.
