The low level slopes of Alpe d'Huez are ahead of the peloton. There are two riders ahead - Sastre and Pineau.
With the scant lead Sastre has, he could be the overall leader if he finishes with the same gap he possesses now.
The rest of my info will be in SPOILER form and won't show up here until after 9PM tonight.
Oh, Saab word of the day is coming.

Lead is cut by CSC
Fabian Cancellara and the rest of the CSC crew has demolished the lead. The yellow jersey peloton is now made up of these guys and more -
Evans, Arvesen, Frank, Andy, Kohl, Valverde, Menchov, Fofonov, Siutsou, Moncoutie, Aerts, Arroyo, Kirchen, Efimkin, Valjavec, Weening, Mounard, Vandevelde.
I'm hoping Hincapie is close.
The leader is just one rider, Velits, and he's just over a minute ahead. Two hors category climbs loom and here comes destruction.
